Rev. Mrs Blessing Uwuma Ajayi and Mrs Blessing Njekwe is using this opportunity to invite Ekpeye Sons & Daughters both Diaspora and Nigeria for the celebration of EKPEYE Heritage Month November 2020 in the City of Brampton, Ontario Canada. As a people, this is a great privilege and honour bestowed on us by the City of Brampton. So we should endeavour to attend in masses to be identified among other ethnic nationalities. It’s very important that November 2020, we the people of EKPEYE (Home and in diaspora) should represent and showcase EKPEYE Heritage in the city of Brampton, Canada.
All preparations should be made to launch the Heritage Month in the City Hall where our Heritage will be promoted and displayed. There going to be a Flag Raising Ceremony and Special Exchange of gifts between the Mayor of Brampton and His Majesty. The Mayor, Council Members and people of Brampton will be present including communities from other Ethnic Nationalities. On this day, we will be expected to dress on our traditional attires that represent true and authentic Ekpeye Cultural Heritage.
Note that, the Celebration of Ekpeye Heritage Month will take a week of different activities that will promote EKPEYE culture. Such as outreach to a Charity Homes as an Act of kindness to the people of Brampton in partnership with Glorious Women of Wonders follow by Leadership Empowerment Summit where national issues will be discussed. The Ekpeye Heritage Month activities at the City Hall with the Mayor and Council members for a brief ceremony, then follow by Glorious Women of Wonders Gala and Excellence Award Event..
Application for attendance and information for document requirements for Visa will be informed and prepared on time to all who wish to attend on the condition that, during your visit to Canada to celebrate Ekpeye Heritage Month in the City of Brampton, you will not be a burden to the state and you’re expected to return back to Nigeria as indicated on your Visa Application. Anyone who wish to remain in Canada after the Event, Glorious Women of Wonders will not be responsible for such person’s Visa Application. This is to enable the organisation to sustain the Ekpeye Heritage Month Tour to Canada on the month of November of every calendar year and also for our organisation to keep good immigration record knowing that everyone invited by Glorious Women of Wonders from Nigeria will return back to Nigeria after the event.
Be advised that, Visa will be given to those who meet their Visa requirements.
Glorious Women of Wonders will arrange for Accommodation whether in Hotel or Air B&B depending on your choice but all visitors will be responsible for the payment of their Accommodation, Transportation & Feeding while in Canada. All Accommodation payment will be made available to Rev. Mrs Blessing Uwuma Ajayi by first week of October 2020 to avoid any disappointment. Anyone who wish to Hire a car during the period of his or her stay in the city of Brampton is more than welcome.
Here are the break down of our itineraries possibly first week of November 2020 to avoid clashes with many other events in the City of Brampton.
Day 1 : On Wednesday the Ekpeye People Outreach to Less Privilege Homes in the City of Brampton as an Act of Kindness from the people of Ekpeye.
Day 2 : On Thursday the Leadership Empowerment Summit to discuss national issues where Speakers will come from different fields.
Day 3: On Friday, Ekpeye Heritage Month Ceremony at the Brampton City Hall during the morning hours starting from 9:30 am to 10:30am where other nationalities will be in attendance to grace the event and hear about Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality and Flag Raising will also take place follow by National Anthem.
Day 4: Saturday the Glorious Women of Wonders Gala and Excellence Award.
The Glorious Women of Wonders Gala and Excellence Award Event is a multicultural event where people from different background are recognised for selfless work they do in various communities and in their chosen fields during the year. This Year Event, some sections will be included to showcase our culture such as Ekpeye Traditional Wrestling and Ekpeye Cultural Dance Display as a way of promoting our Intangible Cultural Heritage to the people of Canada and other nationalities living in Canada.
There will be fundraising event on this day. Please come prepare to support the work of Glorious Women of Wonders and for establishment of Ekpeye Heritage Centre in the City of Brampton, Ontario Canada
Day 5: Sunday : RESTING DAY
Day 6: Monday, The Glorious Women of Wonder will also ensure to organise important visitation to Ottawa Canada where the Prime Minister of Canada is base. Also in Otawa visit to the Office of Nigeria High Commissioner and many more places to create awareness of EKPEYE Cultural Heritage by Hired Bus that will drive us to the capital city of Ottawa and bring us back to the city of Brampton. The Bus fair will be contributed by everyone who wish to come to Ottawa.
Day 7: We will also create opportunity and book for Royal Representatives to visit notable Media TV Studios for interviews to discuss about EKPEYE Ethnicity and how the Canadians can partner with the people of Ekpeye Ethnic Nations in term of investment opportunities in Ekpeye Land.
From Day 8: All visitors invited by Glorious Women of Wonders will be making their way to return back to Nigeria or countries of their residence..
