Rivers State, Nigeria.
In the statement obtained by Ekpeyetv this Afternoon, who was jointly signed by His Royal Highness, Chief CHIMEZIE NATHANIEL (EZE NWE ULA UBETA), CDC Sir, OJEME JULIUS, Ubeta Youth president, Comr. ABALI INNOCENT JOHN and Women Leader, Mrs THEREZER PROMISE said we will go on a peaceful protest from first week of January, 2020 in order to draw the attention of the state and federal government also, the company. “According to the statement, we have written series of letters to the company, still yet,nothing is done in regards to our plights”.

However,it is clearly stated in Nigeria constitution whom guide our daily activities,direct what to do and not to do, that if your right is been triumph upon,you have the right channel, your challenges through peaceful demonstration in to draw the public attention and that is what we have conclude to do.
The statement further read:The company have refused to give Ubeta Community in Ahoada West Local Government Area,River state listening ear and also abandoned their responsibility on the host community where they are operating their business. “All we are asking for is nothing but good development in our community.
It is important to note that the road of us are using is not motorable, no youths Empowerment, There is nothing like good water and poor education facility.You are benefiting from our land and there is need to bring something in return and that is we are calling on you to do needful before you start blaming us tomorrow. “Please, you have now till end of this month, which we all know that is not far now,to respond to this statement, otherwise we would call on state, Federal government and traditional rulers to intervene this matter”.
